1. It is a brightly colored purple thermochromic powder. This pigment can achieve the effect of changing from colorless to purple. It displays its natural state at low temperatures. When the temperature rises, it changes from purple to colorless, and the temperature becomes lower. Then the color changes to purple again.
2. The pigment is a fine spherical powder with a heat-sensitive pigment inside and an insoluble transparent coating on the outside. The heat-sensitive color-changing pigment is very sensitive to the external environment. The coating layer enhances the stability of the heat-sensitive pigment. And chemical resistance, from the erosion of other chemicals, but also enhance the applicability of the product. During the processing, care must be taken to avoid damage to this layer of coating.
The heat-sensitive color-changing pigment will change color with the change of temperature (color-changing temperature range: 0-70℃). When heated, the structure of its internal substance will change and the color will change. When it is cold, the internal substance of the heat-sensitive pigment will return to the original The structure is thus restored to its original color, which is reversible repeatedly. In fact, the discoloration temperature of thermochromic powder is not a temperature point, but a temperature range, that is, the temperature range from the start of the discoloration to the end of the discoloration. The width of this temperature range is generally 4~6℃.
Light fastness: The heat-sensitive color changing powder has poor light fastness, and will quickly fade and lose efficacy when exposed to strong sunlight, so it is only suitable for indoor use. Avoid strong sunlight and ultraviolet light, which will help extend the life of the color-changing pigment.
Heat resistance: heat-sensitive pigments can withstand high temperatures of 230°C in a short time (about 10 minutes), and can be used for injection molding and high temperature curing. However, the thermal stability of thermochromic pigments is different in the color development state and the decolorization state, and the stability of the former is higher than that of the latter. In addition, when the temperature is higher than 80°C, the organic matter constituting the discoloration system will also begin to degrade. Therefore, color-changing pigments should avoid long-term working at a temperature higher than 75°C.
